These knives are forged from shirogami #2 by blacksmith Yoshikazu Tanaka. The steel has a highly refined grain structure, takes an exceptional edge, and is a pleasure to sharpen and maintain. They’re thinly forged and ground to a smooth convex bevel. 

The handles are classic octagonal magnolia with a buffalo horn bolster: warm to the touch, gentle in the hand, and naturally secure grip.
